Debasish Hota

President & CEO

Debasish founded CompuGain in 2000 with a vision to be a highly dependable IT & Business Processing partner to its customers. Debasish completed a Masters in Computer Applications from University of Mumbai. In his career, Debasish implemented business solutions in wide ranging industries including Mortgage, Government, Utilities, Telecom, Financial Services, Education and Technology industries. Under Debasish’s leadership, CompuGain attained the distinction of topping Deloitte’s Virginia Technology Fast 50 ranking in 2008.


Nick Patel


Nick brings to CompuGain a depth of subject matter expertise from his extensive experience in serving the Financial Services industry in a management consulting capacity. He completed his undergraduate degree in Management Accounting in England at the Manchester School of Business and since moving to the United States has completed the CPA exam. During his time in the field he has worked extensively over the span of eight years on three major fortune 500 restatement efforts and brings to the table a compressive understanding of US GAAP coupled with the agility and vision to effectively implement complex accounting policy into large financial institutions.


Joe Palestina

Vice President, Client Development

Joe Palestina brings over 25 years of Staffing Industry experience to CompuGain. Throughout his career Joe has garnered a wealth of knowledge on the ins and outs of the staffing industry. From branch, area and regional management to national accounts and more recently to MSP. As a seasoned industry professional Joe leads CompuGain’s five year strategy to develop new client relationships. A former High School English Teacher and Basketball Coach, Joe graduated from Rutgers Newark University with a degree in American and English Literature.


Ed Draves

Vice President, Delivery

With over 23 years of experience in the staffing industry, Ed’s role as the Vice President of Delivery continues to be a pivotal component to CompuGain’s success. His passion for mentoring career development started after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Business. While garnering an extensive knowledge base throughout his career Ed learned the true value of putting the client’s needs at the forefront and the importance of data analytics for proper reporting. These are only a few of the character traits that bolster Ed’s place here at CompuGain, where customer service is paramount in everything we do.


Harsha Rao


Harsha, an accomplished software architect and an innovative executive, brings 24 years of experience in top positions at firms such as Booz Allen and CSC. After earning his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Houston he served as a principal at Booz Allen focusing on cloud computing, social networking for the enterprise, enterprise transformation, big data, and mobility. While at CSC, he developed cloud strategies, business and cost models, and technical solutions. Harsha also brings a wealth of experience in architecture design and implementation from companies such as General Dynamics and IBM.


Nicole Cayer

Director of Operations

During Nicole’s extensive tenure at CompuGain she has steadily become a fundamental asset to the organization and its employees. Through her creative ability and forward thinking manner she has spearheaded countless efforts that have streamlined operations, automated processes, and made CompuGain a model of efficiency. In addition to operations and compliance, Nicole leads CompuGain’s Human Resources department. At the helm, she has cultivated an environment focused on collaborative work styles without sacrificing the expectation of unmatched customer service.


Justin R. Schuback

Marketing Manager

After graduating from Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Communications Justin took up the role of Marketing Manager. Outside of the office, he has free-lanced in web development and graphic design garnering proficiencies in CSS3, HTML5, PHP, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Through the creative use of this toolkit Justin was able to become an indispensable resource over the past 5 years with company. In addition, Justin has tutored Java Programming and Web Scripting at Northern Virginia Community College while still finding time to volunteer at a local non-profit organization that delivers food to those in need.
