CompuGain is pleased to offer medical and vision coverage through Cigna to Full-time employees.

Eligible employees may enroll during the first 31 days starting from the eligibility date. Coverage is effective on the 1st of the month following the date of hire; this is considered the eligibility date. Changes or enrollment are only allowed during new employment, an open enrollment period, or within 30 days of a qualifying life event (see Life Events for a list of qualifying events). Open Enrollment is in February of each year. Active coverage is effective through the last day of the month during which employment ends.


All of CompuGain’s medical plans are national plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in the following options:

  • Deductible
  • Maximum Out-of-Pocket Costs
  • Premium Cost Contribution
  • Your overall health and the health of eligible dependents
  • Typical plan utilization for your family

Reviewing all plans with side-by-side comparisons  will help you with your decision.

Employees enrolling in a high deductible medical plan will be eligible for a Health Savings Account (HSA). Starting an HSA is not mandatory but is a great way to take advantage of tax savings. If you are unfamiliar with HSA’s please take a few moments to review the HSA Guide.  Participating in a medical plan with an HSA is a great way to save for future health care expenses and lower your out-of-pocket premium cost.


Vision coverage is imbedded in CompuGain’s medical plans.  If you enroll in a medical plan you will automatically receive Cigna Vision – Standard PPO Comprehensive Plan coverage for yourself and covered dependents.  Vision will not be available separately from medical coverage.
