CompuGain Launches "CompuGain Cares" Program

December 13, 2011 Herndon, Virginia – CompuGain is pleased to announce it has formed a community relations program, CompuGain Cares.  CompuGain has been a valued contributor of a variety of charitable organizations since its founding in 2000.  The CompuGain Cares program allows CompuGain to place more emphasis on its charitable contributions and ensures that all community relations efforts are aligned towards the vision of the program.

“The creation of the CompuGain Cares program is an important step to show our dedication and involvement to our local communities,” states Eric Murphy, Director of Marketing at CompuGain.  “Giving back is something that we’ve done from day one at CompuGain.  This program takes our community partnership efforts to a new level and truly displays that CompuGain is a socially responsible member of the communities where we do business.”

CompuGain Cares’ fruition traces its roots back to a company core value of embodying social responsibility on both an individual, employee and on a corporate-wide scale.   In keeping with this core value, the program supports a broad range of charitable and community service organizations that focus on enhancing and enriching family life.  CompuGain combines financial support, collaborative participation with qualified organizations, and active employee participation to provide families in the community with the resources to prosper.

CompuGain will play an active volunteer role at the Dreams for Kids Holiday for Hope event in Washington D.C. on Sunday, December 18th, 2011.  Holiday for Hope is an annual day of giving for at-risk children and families across the United States and in 30 countries around the world.  CompuGain employees have partnered with the movement’s founding organization, Dreams for Kids D.C., to volunteer for Holiday for Hope at Howard University in Washington D.C.   As a part of that program, CompuGain is sponsoring a single mother of seven children and presenting her family with a laptop and printer during the event to provide her children with increased technological access and learning opportunities.
